1. Some months have 30 days, some have 31. How many months have 28 days? ANSWER: All of them. Every month has at least 28 days.

2. If a doctor gives you 3 pills and tells you to take one pill every half hour, how long will it be before all 3 pills are taken? ANSWER: 1 Hour (Take pill #1 at 1:00, pill #2 at 1:30, and pill #3 at 2:00)

3. I went to bed at 8 pm and wound up the alarm and set it for 9:00. How many hours of sleep would I get before it rings? ANSWER: 1 Hour. A wind up alarm clock cannot tell AM from PM.

4. Divide 30 by one-half and add ten. What is the answer? ANSWER: 70. Remember: you divided by 1/2 you did not divide 30 into 2

5. A farmer had 17 sheep. All but 9 died. How many sheep were left? ANSWER: 9 live sheep. (All but 9 died - so 9 are alive)

6. If you had only one match and entered a cold, dark room, where there was an oil heater, a candle and an oil lamp, which would you light first? ANSWER: You would first light the match.

7. A man built a house with four sides of rectangular construction and each side had a southern exposure. A big bear comes along. What colour is the bear? ANSWER: White. If all the walls had a southern exposure, the house was built at the North Pole.

8. Take 2 apples from 3 apples. What do you have? ANSWER: 2 apples.

9. How many animals of each species did Moses take with him onto the Ark? ANSWER: None. It was Noah, not Moses.

10. If you drove a bus with 43 people on board from Chicago and stopped at Pittsburgh to pick up 7 more people and drop off 5, and then at Cleveland to pick up 4 more people and drop off 8, and arrive at Philadelphia 20 hours later, what is the name of the driver? ANSWER: YOU are the driver.
